Wilson Library has added the Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS) Database to its database holdings. The IRIS Database allows users to search for information on over 9,000 active federal and private funding opportunities in the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities. In addition to grants for faculty, the database also contains information about fellowships and scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students. IRIS provides an alert service that allows users to create search profiles and have alerts delivered automatically via email or the Web. The IRIS Expertise Service enables researchers to create detailed electronic CVs and post them to a Web-accessible database for viewing. To use IRIS, visit the page listing the library's database holdings on our website, or click here.
