Outtakes, the library cafe, is now open for business. The cafe is open from from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. It is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to maintenance at the system level, the MERLIN library catalog will be unavailable from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12. Normal service should be restored after 2 p.m.
Wilson Library now provides access to GeoScienceWorld, a set of peer-reviewed electronic journals covering the geological sciences. A full description of the resource, along with a list of the journals included, can be seen here. Note that the library's subscription includes access to the GSW Literature Archives.
If you visit the library, you might notice that the statue of St.Pat is missing from the lobby. The St. Pat's Board has been raising money to have St. Pat cast in bronze, and the statue has been removed as part of the process. Eventually, the bronze statue will be placed in a plaza to be located near the Puck, although St. Pat may return to the library temporarily depending on when the plaza is completed.
