The library has 15 new laptops available for checkout at the Circulation Desk, replacing the machines that had been used previously. Ten of the laptops are Dell E4300 laptops running Windows Vista, while the other five are Dell 2100 Netbooks running Windows XP. All of the new laptops are available for two-hour in-library use.

Publisher Elsevier has announced a planned service outage lasting from 7 AM until 8 PM on Saturday, September 19. This will affect the Scopus database and all journals hosted on ScienceDirect.
