Scholars' Mine Thesis and Dissertation submission will be unavailable beginning at 10 p.m. on December 12 due to maintenance relating to the university name change. It will be available again on December 26, 2007. If you cannot wait to submit your thesis or dissertation until this time, please email John Seguin, Technology Services Librarian at seguin@umr.edu for further instructions.
At approximately 5 PM on Tuesday, October 30, Scholars' Mine will see an update to the search capabilities of the system. This new search is powered by Google Mini, a search appliance housed at UMR's data center and will give more accurate searches and present results in an easy to read and intuitive interface. Comments about the new search can be sent to scholar@umr.edu.
UMR IT will be performing maintenance on the Documentum content servers from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2007. Students attempting to submit a thesis or dissertation into the Scholars’ Mine research repository will be unable to do so during the maintenance window.
The Documentum content servers are unavailable between midnight and 1 a.m. daily for backup procedures.

A new "category" has been established called "ScholarsMineNews" so all information about Scholars' Mine will automatically be put on the Scholar's Mine Home Page as well as the Library home page.
